At Istanbul Kultur University, Vocational School of Studies, Aircraft Technology Associate Degree Program, It has been aimed to educate and train qualified operatives equipped with professional competences meeting the demands of the sector in the field of Aircraft technology.
T.C. Istanbul Kultur University is a foundation University with a public legal entity, founded with the parliamentary act #4281,on July 15, 1997. It carries out its academic and educational activities in accordance with The Higher Education Act #2447 and bears all rights and authorities that a state university has. As an urban university the facilities at Şirinevler Campus, Offices, classrooms, auditoriums and laborataries have been built and equipped with the utmost care. In addition to Şirinevler Campus, The Ataköy Campus- with a total of 65.000 square meter area: 40.000 square meter indoors and 25.000 square meter outdoors facilities, have entered into service in 2004 - 2005 Academic Year. Within that campus a sports complex has been given into service as well as facilites for scientific and social activities. In 2009-2010 Academic Year, Another 6000 square meter campus was opened for the Vocational Schools of Higher education. IKU School of Studies have been continuing instruction at the Incirli Campus with its experienced academic staff.

Admission and Registration Requirements
40 (forty) Students are admitted to the Aircraft technology Programme by OSYM, through the Centralized Placement Test conducted by Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM). Candidates are placed in the Aircraft Technology Program according to their TYT
scores, students' preferences and the quota and the admittance conditions of the programme. Students are registered to the programmein the Registrar's office within the framework of the calender stated by OSYM. The program has a scholarship quota of 4 100%,

Double Major–Minor Programs
Students of the Aircraft Technology program have a Double Major with other associate degree programs. Information can be obtained from the program presidency. Aircraft Technology students can do double major in the following programs. Optician Child Development Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Construction Technology Radio and Television Technology Flight Operations Management Banking and Insurance Office Management and Executive Assistance Program Foreign trade Graphic design Public Relations and Publicity Air Logistics Business Administration Logistics Fashion design Management of health institutions Civil Aviation Management Civil Aviation Cab Services Medical Documentation and Secretariat Tourism and hotel Management.
Each student has to fulfil his mandatory internship within the scope of 12 ECTC credit Industry Based Training. Students of Aircraft electronic coplete their internships in established corporations.
Each student enrolled in the programme gains right to graduate with a minimum of ECTC credit and a minimum 2.00/4.00 GNO (General Average Score)
Through the university Erasmus office, the successful students of Erasmus student mobility and the mobility of Erasmus student internship programs are provided with the opportunity to travel abroad.

Graduates of Aircraft Technology programme offer the title of " Aircraft Maitenance Technician." They can find chances of employment in a vast area including production management, maintaneance, repair and control of aerospace related technical appliances.
