Course Goals
The objectives of this course are: to develop awareness about the contributions of students as near future professionals to the development of democracy in society, to introduce students to historical developments and recent trends in the idea and application of democracy, to encourage students to look at critically the history and experience of democracy and democratization in social, political, and global contexts.
